Booger Sucker, take 2

This post has moved to our new blog!

  1. I love our Nosefrida and so does my two year old. I’m not sure if she knows it will make her feel better or she just thinks its a fun activity! Silly girl.

  2. Wow, I would love a Nosefrida!! My 9 month old has been teething for what seems like weeks now! He has four top teeth coming in all at the same time, so as you can imagine the snot has been piling up at our house!

  3. I have been wanting to get ones of these for awhile now! I have a 1 year old and he hate the nasal aspirators and so do I! They’re awful and never work half the time. I also have a baby on the way in April and with 2 around, it’d be awesome to win one of these! 🙂

  4. I would love to have this! What a genius invention! My 4 month old is going into her first winter and it would be great to not have to use the hated bulb sucker!!

  5. I wonder if this would work on my 4 1/2 year old. He still can’t blow his nose very well! 🙂

  6. My newborn needs this!

  7. We need one of these SO BAD. I have tried everything else when my daughter is congested–this looks like it would work so well. Those nasal aspirators are next to worthless…

  8. My almost 9 month old is just getting over her first major cold. Poor thing couldn’t breathe, nurse, sleep, you name it. We used the “blue bulb” with mixed results – most of the time she was crying and struggling so it was next to impossible to get it in her nose. It sounds like the Nosefrieda is a much better solution!!

  9. Oh, Nose Frida, how I love you!!! It’s the first bad cold of the season for our household, which means two little snot filled noses. In the past 24 hours, we have successfully sucked lots of snot from the noses of our 2 1/2 year old and 4 month old. I remember the screams and trauma that always accompanied the blue bulb syringe. I now get a little gleeful whenever my toddler asks for the “nose thing.” She knows that it helps her to breathe and sleep better. The baby woke up several times overnight because he couldn’t breathe well. Zip, zap, suck with the Nose Frida and he was breathing clearly again in seconds, happily nursing and falling back to sleep. I wish I could give a Nose Frida to each of the 10 people I know who are expecting babies. Alas, the best I can do is regularly sing its praises to anyone who will listen. Thanks, HB, for carrying such a great product!

  10. I would love to try a nosefrida! My teething baby is creating a lot of snot, and the bulb just isn’t doing it for us!

  11. i’d love one!

  12. My baby will not let us come near her with a bulb sucker. She has had a runny nose for a few weeks now and is having such a hard time nursing. I am really afraid she is going to wean early because of this. The nosefrida looks like it might be just what we need!

  13. thanks for the chance to win onea!

  14. My daughter has a super stuffed up nose right now and doesn’t sit too well for the bulb… so it would be great to try this out! I’ve heard great things about them!

  15. My 6 week old is congested and I feel so bad using the bulb syringe they gave me at the hospital. She cries and gets so worked up. 😦

I would love to try something that isn’t so traumatizing for her!

  16. Three children later and I have to admit I’ve never heard of the NoseFrida…but really wish that I had. Since my youngest is our last I’d love something that would work! It could be part of my “I’ve finally gotten things figured out” kick. :0)

  17. I always thought that the bulb syringe (booger sucker) would work better than it actually does…and yes, when the babe is totally stuffed up i have been secretly thinking how could I suck the snot out of her nose without actually doing it? (yuck, ewe, right?)…and then comes the NoseFrida. Would love to give it a try.

  18. I’d love to try this for my stuffy-nosed babe… =)

  19. I could definitely use one of these!

  20. We absolutely LOVE our nose frieda and just had to pull it out again the other day. I would love to win to give one to my SIL who’s having her first baby.

  21. We use saline and the bulb syringe, but I’d love to have this in my arsenal!

  22. Hmm, I assume the suction is less intense with the nosefrida than with the bulb. That seems to be what upsets my kiddo the most.

I would love to try one.

  23. I keep hearing about how great this is from my good friend Molly (she posted above!). I haven’t gotten one yet, but boy, I am way interested given my friend’s recommendations, as well as this blog post. The video was helpful too, because I wasn’t sure how it worked. We’d love to have a Nose Frida!

  24. Congrats to Karment – our Nosefrida give-away winner! 🙂
