We have the green toys tea set, and they are the sturdiest toys we have! The kids play with it every day. We would love more Green Toys!

Green toys for me include all the reasons the author listed above…and basically peace of mind. When I see my little one mouthing the toys, I don’t have to worry about paint or varnishes that might harm his developing body. I also like the thoughtfulness that many green companies have regarding families and the differences held within. While not all of the toys in our house can be labeled green…we try to buy as much as we can.

How nice that a company is trying hard to make truly safe toys for our children to play with. With all the recalls and lead scares these days, it’s hard to know what toys are truly safe!

Never had any Green Toys, but I would love to try them! The Trucks look super cute!

I have a bunch of the Green Toys on my boys’ holiday list! Would love to win some, such awesome stuff.

What a lovely green giveaway! Green toys can sometimes be harder to find and sometimes they cost a little more, but I think it is really important to know what your children are playing with is safe! Thanks for the article!!
Toys from this company would be a great addition to my Christmas list!

Wow, Carolyn, you said it all. That is exactly what we ALL love about Green Toys. I’m really trying to push my family into buying “green” or wooden toys for my kids and Green Toys is a part of that push. My son got the dump truck for his birthday and we have already purchases the tea set for my niece for Christmas. I can’t wait to get more Green Toys in our house!

It’s great to know that we have access to green toys. I also love scouring garage sales and thrift stores for “old” toys that were often made before harmful plastics. It makes for a lovely assortment for the whole family to play with. My toddler loves cars, so a dump truck would be great!

We recently purchased the dump truck for our 17 month-old girl. She picked it out herself. When we got home, she put her baby in it and pushed it around for hours. Looking forward to getting her the tea set for Christmas bc she also loves to help in the kitchen.

Awsome! Thanks for sharing! What I really love about this company is the no twist-ties/plastic binding. Those things are made for one use, can’t be recyled, and cause a choking hazzard. Glad that someone realized that they are unnecessary!
By: melanie on November 9, 2010 at 10:35 am
Adore the kitchen set!!!! The stuff we have is definitely not food safe.
I bought the dump truck for my son for his first birthday, and he loves it! He likes putting all sorts of things inside the truck and pushing it about the house. It’s sturdy and I love that it’s USA made and environmentally friendly.

We love the wooden toys. The blocks and tea set would be great Christmas gifts this year!

I’m was going to buy one of the green trucks for my little man for christmas this year. I love these products!

we have worked hard to surround our kiddo with green toys – handed down, wooden, sustainable, natural. altho not always the easiest, we try to educate our families about the great, green toy options out there. Green Toys would be a such a welcome treat for all of us! plus, my lil’ guy is a car and truck rolling fool!
We love our green toys recycling truck – my toddler loves putting all kinds of little toys in there and trucking them around the house (and dumping them out in random – sometimes hidden – locations). His face just lit up when he saw the green toys fire truck recently, so that’s already on our holiday shopping list.
Thanks for promoting this fabulous company!

I love these toys!

All the Green Toys are on Dexter’s Christmas list! Not only because they are GREEN but because he truly loves them – he gravitates to them whenever we’ve had the opportunity to try them out! Great products!

I have wanted to get the recycling truck since I was pregnant! Now that Cooper is 9 months old and seems to love pushing things around, I’m putting this on my holiday shopping list. It’s great to read about the company’s background. There’s already enough material and resources on this earth so I’m glad to see it put to good
use. And minimal packaging is a bonus! There’s nothing more irritating than wrestling with plastic-coated twist ties and dozens of plastic bags. Way to go, Green Toys and HB!

My daughter loves her stacking rings from this company – and so do I! They’re cheerful, durable and just the right shape for growing hands. Plus, the packaging, which is recyclable, comes off in a snap. Can’t wait to buy her the boat for bathtime!
By: Alex V on November 9, 2010 at 1:09 pm
I LOVE the idea of toys being made from recycled products. Im so excited for Maddie to start playing with these toys!
By: Ashley on November 9, 2010 at 1:17 pm
We love Green Toys at our house! My son pushes his dump truck down the stairs daily and it’s still in perfect condition!
By: Di on November 9, 2010 at 1:24 pm
These look really neat – I’ve not heard of them before, but will be checking them out now that the holidays are right around the corner…
By: kate C. on November 9, 2010 at 1:39 pm
I think Henry would adore these–I’ll have to check these out!
By: Stella on November 9, 2010 at 1:52 pm
The tea set is definitely on our Christmas list. Perhaps she needs a truck too…
By: Jenn on November 9, 2010 at 2:04 pm
We love green toys! The boat is a big hit in the bathtub these days.

I would love for my 9 month old son Caleb to play with green toys. Toys that are good for the environment such a great idea!
By: Bliss on November 9, 2010 at 3:00 pm
As a tea drinker, I know that my daughter is absolutely going to need that tea set! I’ve been eyeing it for ages now.
Pick me! Pick me! Irene needs a good truck toy. They’re not just for boys and I feel like no one will get her one for Christmas because our family is more traditional.
By: Chelsea on November 9, 2010 at 8:23 pm
What a fabulous company! Safe recycled toys that are fun and amazingly sturdy. We were first introduced to Green Toys when our daughter got the tea set last Christmas. We love it for what it stands for, but she loves it even more for how fun it is! We’d love to try another Green Toy!

How can you claim to make green toys out of plastic?
Isn’t it just recycled plastic?
Don’t you have to melt and mold it again?
That process can’t be green buddy!
